AIWorkbench.dev ("we", "us", "our") operates a browser-based developer toolkit for testing and comparing large language models. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our website.

2. api keys & credentials

Your API keys never touch our servers. All LLM API calls are made directly from your browser to the respective provider endpoint (api.anthropic.com, api.openai.com, etc.). Keys are stored exclusively in your browser's sessionStorage and are automatically cleared when you close the tab. We do not collect, transmit, log, or store API keys in any form.

3. prompts & outputs

All prompts you write and outputs you receive exist only in your browser's memory. We do not intercept, log, or store any prompt content or model responses. Your data stays on your device.

4. information we collect

We collect minimal, non-personally-identifying information:

  • Analytics data — anonymous page views and usage patterns via privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
  • Contact form submissions — if you voluntarily submit our contact form, we store your name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.

5. cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We may use essential browser storage (sessionStorage, localStorage) solely for application functionality (e.g., remembering your selected provider or theme preference). No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Each provider's own privacy policy applies to the data you send them. We are not responsible for their data handling practices.

7. advertising

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

8. data retention

We do not maintain long-term databases of user information. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. Contact form data is retained only as long as necessary to address your inquiry (typically no longer than 90 days).
